Diese Beläge sind 6-mal stärker als Stahl und sind zudem völlig asbestfrei hergestellt.
Der mittlere bis hohe Reibwert gewährleistet eine hohe Bremskraft über einen weiten Temperaturbereich. Die hohe Bremskraft verursacht einen minimalen Verschleiß von Bremsbelag und Bremsscheibe.
